Fruit Quality Controller

Who are we looking for?

For our Quality Control department within the Marine division, we are looking for a fruit inspector.

You support quality control of incoming and outgoing fruit and vegetable cargoes in various Benelux ports and storage facilities.

• You can prepare and manage quality reports.
• You follow up on quality issues and further loss prevention for several major clients.
• You can switch quickly and work in a targeted way; your expertise is needed at different locations, both domestic and abroad.
• You are flexible in a constantly changing schedule. You can handle expected and unexpected busy days while maintaining quality standards.
• You handle discussions professionally and mediate toward an appropriate solution.

What do we ask from you?

For this vacancy you preferably have a secondary education diploma. A background in agriculture or horticulture is a plus. You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, and you communicate clearly. You have good knowledge of MS Office applications, with Excel being important. Relevant experience is not required, but the willingness to learn is essential. As a Fruit Inspector you are eager to learn, independent, and have a strong sense of order and organization, combined with stress resilience and flexibility. You are naturally a team player and problem solver who can work in a solution-oriented way according to established procedures. You hold a category B driving license.
